Training opportunity

There is still time to apply for the 2010 SUSI Program!

The “Study of the United States Institutes” are two summer programs for professors and scholars from around the world.  The one for University Faculty includes intensive post-graduate level academic programs and integrated study tours.  A separate one for Secondary School Educators offers a six-week post-graduate seminar in the United States.  The programs usually begin in mid-June and give foreign educators a chance to learn more about the American society, culture and institutions.  The ultimate goal is to improve the quality of teaching about the United States in academic institutions abroad.   All of the institute programs will be held this summer at different U.S. universities and colleges.  NOTE: Space in the institutes is very limited.   To be competitive, candidates must have excellent proficiency in English and outstanding qualifications. Application Deadline: January 25, 2010.  More information available here.

Kolja Saksida (Slowenia) - ArtsLink 2008 - w MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) w Nowym Jorku

Nowojorska organizacja CEC ArtsLink, jeszcze do 1 grudnia, 2009 roku przyjmuje podania na dwa bardzo ciekawe programy: ArtsLink Residencies 2010 i ArtsLink Independent Projects.  ArtsLink Residencies to elitarny,
5-tygodniowy program rezydencji
