March 27, 2009
On March 10, the Chicago-based Melvin Taylor Blues Band — with Melvin Taylor on vocals and lead guitar, Felton Crews on the bass, and Krzysztof Zawadzki on drums — performed a special concert at Warsaw’s Intercontinental Hotel.
Jamming at the Intercontinental Warsaw
Melvin’s fingers moved faster than our camera could capture. He also played with the guitar behind his head, with a glass… we’re not saying you should try it at home, but it was definitely cool.
While they were touring Poland, the guys also held a jazz clinic for the students of Bednarska Music College. We had a lot of fun and hope they come back.
